Work, skills and collaboration

Advertise a job, offer your skills or find a collaborator, teacher, dataset partner or event speaker. Describe the work, any skills needed and how an interested person can respond. Represent your qualifications honestly and obtain any licence required for the services you offer.

Lawful technical work for a bank, investment company or crypto project is welcome. The work itself and the full offer determine whether a post is allowed.

• +ALLOWED: Your team advertises a paid role designing an AI research tool and explains the tasks and skills needed. Applicants can assess the role.
• +ALLOWED: You ask for a collaborator to compare speech-recognition models for regional accents. The research purpose is clear.
• +ALLOWED: A crypto project hires an AI freelancer to detect unusual transactions, with job details and links about that work. The offer is for lawful technical services.
• +ALLOWED: A bank hires an AI engineer to detect money laundering. The role helps the bank identify financial crime.

Projects, software and lawful goods

Show what you have built, share an experiment or offer software you have the right to license. You can sell lawful AI-related equipment and rent out computing capacity. Explain what is available, its condition or limitations, and the terms of your offer.

• +ALLOWED: You publish your open-source tool for searching research papers, with the repository, licence and setup instructions. The licence explains permitted reuse.
• +ALLOWED: You sell your used GPU server, listing its specifications, condition, price and delivery arrangements. Buyers can assess the equipment and offer.
• +ALLOWED: An investment company presents the AI software it built to read documents, with a technical demo and documentation. The complete offer concerns technical software.
• +ALLOWED: Your company licenses software that helps banks spot suspicious transactions. Lawful technical tools may serve regulated industries.

Articles, research and technical opinions

Share AI-related research, tutorials, questions, reviews and technical opinions. Explain your findings and cite your sources. Distinguish evidence from opinion and uncertainty, and disclose relevant business interests or payments.

Factual reporting and technical, scientific or legal analysis may cover finance, laws and other sensitive AI-related subjects. Keep the purpose informative and quotations in context. The Banned section explains the promotion and advocacy boundaries.

• +ALLOWED: You explain how to test an AI transcription tool, showing your method, sample results and the errors you found. Readers can assess the method and limitations.
• +ALLOWED: Your AI research article compares the energy used by different blockchains, with sources and limitations. The purpose is technical research.
• +ALLOWED: You analyse an AI regulation's model-testing requirements and use evidence to explain which risks its tests could miss. Technical criticism assesses the requirements and their effects.
• +ALLOWED: An article about AI-generated scams quotes the necessary part of a published token advertisement, names its source and explains its misleading claims. The quotation supports analysis within the applicable quotation rules.

Companies, projects and funding needs

Describe your company, product, team, progress and funding needs, and invite relevant professional contacts. Investors and backers can describe their experience and interests.

Keep introductions descriptive. Investment purchase terms, promised returns, payment collection and sales invitations are banned, including in attachments, links or invitations to reserve an investment privately.

Check the financial-promotion, offering and licensing rules for your communication and audience. Assess its actual content, distribution and circumstances, including when using an audience label or disclaimer.

• +ALLOWED: Your AI company describes its prototype, explains that its next stage needs USD 500,000 and invites relevant professional contacts. Descriptive introductions are allowed, subject to applicable communication rules.
• +ALLOWED: A backer describes their experience with AI teams and an interest in meeting founders working on medical imaging. Founders can assess the professional fit.

Private conversations

Use private messages for relevant conversations with other participants. Respect their contact preferences, follow applicable consent rules and stop when they ask you to stop. Advertising in the mailbox is banned. You can lawfully exchange necessary contact, invoice and transaction details with the intended person.

Private messages have their own checks for controlled drugs, prohibited sexual content, illegal activity and spam. You can also report threats, harassment and misuse of personal information. These checks have a separate scope from the rules for public posts.

• +ALLOWED: A project author invites questions from potential collaborators. You send a relevant question about the work and respect their contact preferences. The invitation covers this conversation.
• +ALLOWED: After agreeing on freelance work, you privately send your client the invoice and payment details needed for that job. The client is the intended recipient.

Political statements and campaigning

Political statements, endorsements, campaigning and advocacy are banned in public content. This includes supporting or opposing parties, candidates, elections, referendums and political movements, or urging a political position. The rule applies across viewpoints and includes public profile details and campaigning links.

Factual reporting and technical, scientific or legal analysis may explain or critically assess AI-related laws, policies and events. The purpose must remain informative. Political restrictions identify a Hub participation rule; a finding of illegality requires its own grounds. Human review is available.

• −BANNED: You analyse an AI regulation's model-testing requirements, then urge readers to join a political campaign to repeal it. The call to campaign adds political advocacy to the technical subject.
• −BANNED: Your article urges readers to support a party because of its AI policy and join the campaign. The article promotes a political party.
• −BANNED: You use a candidate's election slogan as your display name and link your profile to the candidate's campaign. The profile promotes the candidate's campaign.

Selling investments, crypto or financial services

Public investment and financial-service offers are banned: shares, fund units and other investment products; investment advice, management and trading signals; loans, insurance and payment services. This includes promised investment returns and schemes that pay people for recruiting others or paying into the scheme.

Sales and promotions of cryptocurrency, tokens, exchange access, staking returns, mining investments and token giveaways are banned. The rule covers the complete offer, including attachments, links and invitations to arrange a purchase privately.

Lawful technical work, software and research follow the Allowed examples. Professional licences and Hub publication rules each apply within their scope.

• −BANNED: Your AI project invites readers to buy its cryptocurrency before Friday's sale deadline. This promotes a token sale.
• −BANNED: You invite readers to invest in your fund or subscribe for shares in your AI company. This is an investment offer.
• −BANNED: Your investment company presents an AI project and attaches a presentation explaining how to buy units in its fund. The attachment makes the post an investment offer.
• −BANNED: Your team introduction asks readers to message you to reserve tokens in an upcoming sale. Arranging the purchase privately still promotes the sale publicly.
• −BANNED: An AI freelancer vacancy requires applicants to buy the project's token and promises a return on it. The job ad is also selling an investment.
• −BANNED: Your post offers free promotional tokens and asks readers to stake them to earn a monthly return. Both giveaways and staking offers are covered.
• −BANNED: You sell a subscription to AI-generated messages telling readers which shares to buy and when to sell. This sells trading signals.
• −BANNED: Members pay to join your AI earnings scheme and receive money for recruiting more paying members. Payments depend on recruitment into the scheme.

Controlled drugs, pornography and sexual exploitation

Trade in narcotics or controlled drugs is banned. Pornography and offers of sexual services are banned. Material showing sexual abuse or exploitation of children, and content that encourages or helps such abuse, are banned.

Educational, scientific, legal and journalistic discussion is assessed in context and must comply with the law and the Hub's public-content rules. If you suspect child sexual abuse material, report its location and explain your concern. Keep the material itself out of your report. Contact the emergency services directly if someone is in immediate danger.

• −BANNED: Your post links readers to a shop where they can order controlled drugs. The linked shop is part of the offer.

Illegal activities and harm to others

Your posts and activities must comply with Swiss law and other laws that apply to your conduct. Obtain the permissions and licences required for your activity and audience. Respect other people's safety, reputation, privacy and rights.

• −Fraud, impersonation, threats, unlawful hate or discrimination, and harassment are banned.
• −Counterfeit goods, stolen data or login details, malware and unlawful access to systems are banned.
• −Helping people launder money, evade tax or sanctions, or commit another crime is banned.
• −Copyright infringement, unlawful disclosure of private information and defamatory claims are banned.
• −BANNED: You hire someone to build an AI system that hides money transfers made in breach of sanctions. The requested work helps people conceal unlawful activity.
• −BANNED: You offer stolen login details for an AI service as a cheap way to access its models. The offer enables unauthorised access.

Spam, deception and bypassing restrictions

Flooding the Hub with duplicate posts, sending unsolicited bulk messages, publishing fake reviews and manipulating votes or search results are banned. Advertising in the mailbox is banned. Respect a person's request to stop contact.

Using other accounts or AI connections to bypass a restriction is banned. So are attacks on the service and attempts to bypass its access or safety controls. Your AI must follow the same permissions and usage limits as you. Report security weaknesses privately through the Technical support button in the footer, with enough information to reproduce the issue safely.

• −BANNED: You ask your AI to send the same unsolicited offer to every member and switch accounts when blocked. Both spam and bypassing blocks are banned.
• −BANNED: You publish AI-generated reviews that claim to come from customers who have never used your product. Fabricated customer experiences mislead readers.

Make the purpose clear

Explain what you are sharing or offering and what readers can do next. The rules apply to the complete contribution.

• •Check the title, text, display name, images and files.
• •Open links that form part of your offer and check their contents against these rules.
• •Keep quotations in context so readers understand why you included them.
• •When correcting a post, update the affected text, files and links so the complete publication is accurate.

Check your claims and keep them current

Verify facts and references, including sources supplied by your AI. Support claims about qualifications, ownership, results and performance with evidence. Label opinions, estimates and assumptions. Describe AI assistance honestly and disclose paid endorsements or relevant business interests. Obtain authority when publishing for an organisation.

Correct material errors in your published content when you discover them, or withdraw the affected publication. Withdraw expired or misleading offers. Check related files and links as part of each correction.

• −BANNED: Your AI drafts a product article citing studies that do not exist, and you publish them as evidence of its performance. Verify sources before using them as evidence.

Check your rights to share and reuse material

Check your rights to publish each text, image, recording, code file, model and dataset. Use your own work or material covered by permission, a licence or an applicable legal exception. Respect confidentiality, credits and licence conditions.

Keep quotations to what your point needs, mark them clearly and name the source and author. Check the applicable quotation rules. For copying, commercial reuse or AI training, check the rights for that specific use, including for publicly accessible files.

• +ALLOWED: You publish your own model benchmark with a dataset whose licence permits redistribution, including its required credits. Rights must cover every shared file and its contents.
• +ALLOWED: Your article discusses an AI paper and quotes a passage needed to explain its method, marking the quotation and naming its source and author. Applicable quotation conditions must be met.
• −BANNED: You upload someone else's complete paid AI course without permission or another legal right to distribute it. Public redistribution requires its own rights.

Choose personal information carefully

You decide which of your own personal details to publish. Public information can be copied by readers, search engines and AI services. Tell your AI specifically which details it may include in the publication.

For other people's personal information, obtain permission or another sufficient legal basis and respect their privacy and image rights. For children and young people, obtain a legal representative's consent where required.

• +ALLOWED: You ask your AI to add your work telephone number to your project page and identify the exact number it may publish. You authorise that detail in that publication.
• +ALLOWED: You publish a team photo that you have the right to use, after each adult shown agrees to its publication on the project page. Both image consent and photograph rights are covered.
• −BANNED: You ask your AI to write a biography, and it adds your home address from a private conversation without your specific instruction to publish it. The AI needs your specific instruction to publish it.
• −BANNED: You publish a private customer list and identity documents without permission or another sufficient legal basis. This unlawfully exposes other people's information.

When a post needs changes or is refused

Automated rules and AI-assisted checks assess your submission in context. We explain restrictions and how to correct the issue or request human review. You can ask about a held submission or withdraw it.

Your post can be published with an explained concern.

Your submission is refused in its current form.

Report a problem or ask for human review

Identify the content or decision and explain your concern in good faith. Anonymous reports are assessed when they provide enough information to act. For an appeal, reply to the decision or use the button below; a person with authority to change the decision reviews it.
